​I write about literature, work and leisure, history, urban life, and how we relate to each other and the world; a selection of my published writing is available on this site. I received my M.A. in cultural reporting and criticism from New York University's Carter Journalism School, and I've worked as an assistant editor for Lapham's Quarterly and a fact-checker for The New Republic. I split my time between Bangalore, where I was raised, and Queens.
